Runwell’s 40‑hour safety representative course (verneombudskurs) equips your safety delegate better than ever. The training is delivered through Runwell using interactive e‑learning modules and practical assignments at your workplace. The course meets the Labour Inspection Authority’s content requirements and lasts at least 40 hours.

How it works:

1. Add the 40‑hour Safety Representative Course procedure to your location under HSE > Procedures.
2. Assign the course to the safety representative role and ensure all tasks are linked to the correct role.
3. The course and tasks will appear for the delegate, with instructions for each assignment.
4. A manager must review the work before approving the course completion.

Course content covers:

• Understanding a fully adequate working environment (8 hours).
• Understanding roles in working life, including the delegate’s responsibilities and cooperation with the employer (6 hours).
• Knowledge of systematic HSE work and tools (9 hours), including the internal control regulations.
• Ability to identify and assess work environment risks (8 hours).
• Familiarity with the Working Environment Act and relevant regulations (8 hours).

Participants must complete all tasks in the procedure to ensure sufficient training. Employers are responsible for verifying that the training meets legal requirements.
